What is ClickMeter.io?

ClickMeter.io is a link tracking and analytics platform that helps you understand how your links perform. Create short, branded URLs and track every click with detailed analytics.

How do I get started?

Simply create a free account. You'll choose your permanent account slug (like yourname), which becomes part of all your links: clickmeter.io/yourname/link

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No! Our free plan doesn't require a credit card. You can create an account and start tracking links immediately. You'll only need a credit card when upgrading to Pro.

Can I change my account slug later?

No, your account slug is permanent. This ensures your links remain consistent and trustworthy. Choose carefully during registration! We recommend using your brand name, personal name, or business name.

How do I create a tracked link?

After logging in, click "Create New Link" in your dashboard. Enter your destination URL and choose a memorable slug. Your full URL will be clickmeter.io/yourname/yourslug

Can I edit my links after creating them?

Yes! You can:

• Change the destination URL anytime
• Rename the link slug (old slug becomes an alias that redirects)
• Pause/activate links
• Delete links entirely

What happens when I rename a link?

When you rename a link, the old URL automatically becomes an alias that redirects to the new URL. This means previously shared links won't break – they'll just redirect to your new slug.

Are there any restrictions on destination URLs?

We don't allow links to malware, phishing sites, or illegal content. All links must comply with our Terms of Service. We may remove or disable links that violate our policies.

Can I use custom domains?

Not yet, but it's on our roadmap! For now, all links use the clickmeter.io domain with your unique account slug.

What analytics do you track?

Free Plan: Total clicks, unique visitors, and basic daily click charts (30-day history)

Pro Plan: Everything in Free, plus geographic data, device/browser info, referrer tracking, and unlimited history.

How accurate is the click tracking?

Very accurate! We track every click in real-time. However, like all analytics platforms, we may occasionally filter out bot traffic or spam clicks to keep your data clean.

Can I export my analytics data?

Pro users can export analytics to CSV. We're also building an API for programmatic access (coming soon).

How long do you keep analytics data?

Free: 30 days of history
Pro: Unlimited history – we keep your data forever (or until you delete it)

How much does ClickMeter.io cost?

Free: $0/month – Up to 10 links, basic analytics, 30-day history
Pro: $29/month – Unlimited links, advanced analytics, unlimited history

Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?

Yes! No contracts, no commitments. Cancel anytime from your account settings. You'll retain Pro features until the end of your billing period.

Do you offer discounts?

We occasionally offer discounts for annual plans, students, nonprofits, and startups. Contact us to inquire.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe. We don't currently support PayPal or crypto, but may add them in the future.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes! If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days, we'll refund your Pro subscription, no questions asked. Just contact support.

How fast are your redirects?

Lightning fast! Our redirect time is typically under 100ms globally. We use optimized infrastructure to ensure your links don't slow down your user experience.

Do you have an API?

Not yet, but it's coming soon! We're building a full REST API that will allow you to create links, retrieve analytics, and manage your account programmatically. Pro users will get API access.

Can I integrate ClickMeter.io with other tools?

Once our API is live, yes! We're also planning native integrations with popular tools like Zapier, WordPress, and email marketing platforms.

What's your uptime guarantee?

We target 99.9% uptime and monitor our systems 24/7. If we experience any downtime, we'll post updates on our status page (coming soon) and notify affected users.

How do you protect my data?

We take security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices and regularly audit our systems. We never sell your data to third parties.

Do you track my website visitors across the web?

No! We only track clicks on your ClickMeter.io links. We don't use cookies or scripts that follow users around the web. Your visitors' privacy is important to us.

Is ClickMeter.io GDPR compliant?

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes, absolutely. You can delete your account anytime from your account settings. This will permanently delete all your links, analytics data, and personal information. This action cannot be undone.
